Don’t worry! When it comes to is just a phrase which means regarding, or as for, or if we are speaking about, or if we are only speaking about.
Let’s clear this up with a few examples:
- When it comes to business, Bill Gates is a genius.
- Eric is a highly intelligent man, but when it comes to popular culture, he’s clueless. He knows nothing about sport, TV, movies, or celebrities.
- When it comes to music, nobody can deny that Michael Jackson was a genius.
